This panel seeks to create an encounter between three of such fields that record, visualize, and advocate around the recent urban and environmental shifts in Istanbul: environmental science, architecture, and documentary film. With İrem Daloğlu, Sinan Logie, and İmre Azem, it will be a discussion around how each approach sensitizes anthropo-scenic change in Istanbul and beyond. With a choreographic perspective in mind, we will ask how each discipline takes human and non-human mobility as methods and objects of study. The public is welcome to this conversation between art, science and activism during these exchanges that will question the best practices for creatively representing and supporting our patches of coexistence.
